The Southwest Florida Heroes Foundation is honored to have played a role in helping a local SWFL Army Veteran.

Don J., 85, fought for our freedom in the Korean War and was in need of some assistance in regaining his own freedom as he suffers from Parkinson’s disease as well as other health issues. Kim Gaide of Lee Health was looking for help to get a ramp built so that Don could get in and out of his home easier. Larry Parchem and Tom Super graciously donated their time to help this hero with zero cost to this Veteran!

These pictures are worth a thousand words. Please join us in thanking Lee Health who funded the project and Larry Parchem and Tom Super who made this project successful.
